Description

As a part of the software development team, you will be mainly developing and maintaining applications using LAMP technologies. (Linux, Apache, MySQL/Postgres, PHP).

Responsibilities

• Creating and maintaining PHP based applications
• Coordinate with graphic designers and other team members
• Building E-commerce and Internet/Intranet other web based applications
• Completing projects in a given time frame

Required Knowledge and Skills

• Hands-on experience with PHP and AJAX
• Working knowledge of AJAX, JavaScript, HTML,CSS, DHTML, XML.
• Experience with database administration (MySql, Postgres, SQL Server), triggers/stored procedures, etc.
• Working knowledge of PHP frameworks (CakePHP, Zend, CodeIgniter)
• Experience with payment gateways (paypal, worldpay, authorize.net, ccAvenue)
• Knowledge of Joomla, Drupal and OS Commerce would be an advantage
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and excellent problem solving/ troubleshooting skills
• An eye for intuitive user interface design
• Working knowledge of Photoshop, Flash, Dreamweaver would be an advantage
• Knowledge of Version Control (CVS, Subversion, Visual Source Safe) would be a plus
• Ability to work with request trackers (e.g. Mantis, BugZilla)
• Good understanding of the Web 2.0 development standards and database architecture
• Ability to write clean, maintainable and well-documented code, based on description of business logic
• Ability to work and produce required results without close supervision
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team, flexibility and ability to multi-task

Educational Qualification(s) (any one)

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (B.E.-IT, B.E.-Comp, etc.)
• Master’s Degree in Computers (M.C.A., M.C.S., M.E., etc. )

Minimum 1 year
